You can tell it's an Alan Ball show. Which is a good thing, I love Alan Ball. :D

4. Same here, it definitely has the flavor of Six Feet Under

but with even more lushness. Anna Paquin is wonderfully cast as Sookie and Rutina Wesley is a hoot as Tara (oh the irony) Thornton.
