3. I used to have that album
I think the version with Cop Killer on it is considered a collector's item. Seems like I remember them getting censored pretty fierce.

4. Yeah, I remember. My best friend's dad was a cop and her sister is.
He was mighty frightened by the premise of that song. I remember having a deep conversation with him about it. He understood the idea behind it and the anger and incidents that fuel it.

7. I saw him do that song live
A police chopper flew over the Coliseum in the middle and simultaneously tens of thousands of middle fingers went skyward. Funniest damn thing ever.

That was when he opened for GnR and Metallica because they had to reschedule the show and there was a schedule conflict so Faith No More couldn't make it. (17 years later, I still bitch about that. :grr: )

5. Soundgarden tried to get the crowd riled up & chanting "F*** the police"
at Lollapalooza '92 on Harriet Island in St. Paul. It fell flat. I wonder what the response would be today.
