there were a few in the high 4's.
You get through a big one and you're all :scared: and here come the aftershocks, and when they first hit you dunno if they're gonna be just as bad or what.
Fortunately, those happen only every 20 years or so.

If you look at a geological map of Japan, then you'll see how there are many faults, some of them diving under the others...
It makes for a very unstable situation...
