Something weird regarding my brain and computer sounds. |
|
I've always wondered why my computer can play music and game sounds at the same time. It can even play a third sound, like incoming email. The sounds overlap. It's cacophony.
I just realized why this is such a weird wonder to me.
Because I can't think two tunes at the same time.
Okay, that's all.

1. It does it by superposition |

All that means is, it literally adds the two audio channels together, (or three, or four, etc) resulting in one, which is what it sends to the converters and then to the pre-amplifier. This is digitally equivalent to what a mixer does.
