do your eyes change colors?

depending how the light hits my eyes they can look different colors.. sometimes even at the same time.



anyone else's eyes do this?

They're green/brown hazel. Usually mostly brown but sometimes very green (like when I'm really, really pissed off) and often an interesting combination of the two.

4. No, but they're two colors to begin with.

Depending on the light, what I'm wearing, etc either the green of the wider exterior ring or the interior copper ring can seem more prominent.

6. well that's what i mean by change colors

mine are blue with a yellow-ish/green ring on the interior.. judging on the lighting and what i'm wearing, either the green shows up more or else the blue shows up more(like in my avatar) :hi:

Although if I look up real close, I see that they actually have yellow in them too, although that isn't apparent if you're not looking hard.

Also, they change depending upon the color of the clothes I'm wearing.

They've got a little bit of green, a little bit of blue, a little bit of grey... but as far as I know they never seem to actually change color. Just the ratio of how much blue, green or grey there is seems to shift a bit. :P

Sometimes they appear darker depending on what I'm wearing. My brother has hazel eyes and they change color, they can be kind of brown, or very green. The bastard. He got the dark skin/hair and color change eyes. I get the fair skin that never tans and plain ol' blue eyes. *sigh* :P

Normally they are mostly brown but I've been told when 'aroused' they are more green.

If i cry, they are a very vibrant violet/blue, if I wear grean, they have a greenish tint, sometimes they are light blue, sometimes dark, sometimes they're almost teal.



edited to add - Dropkid's eyes go from almost black to mahogany like in the pic and everything in between.

27. Babies eyes change color

Caucasian babies eyes go from blue to some other color (brown for both of my boys) and your eye color tends to fade and get lighter when you become aged. I think you're just mugging for compliments, though.

As a matter of fact, one of my closest friends is an eye doctor, and a couple of weeks ago I told him that I was thinking about getting colored contacts because I was tired of my eyes being non-descript. He said "What do you mean? They're blue!" I told him to point one of his optometry lights directly in my eyes. When he did, he said "Whoa - okay, now they're green".

I don't know what color I'm gonna end up choosing for my contacts - but since it seems that most people say my eyes are green, I'm probably going with that. :) :hi:
