Henceforth, Sniffa will be known as The Cat Whisperer™ |
|
:o
So I go away for a night, and at that point in time, the cats can't be together for more than 10 minutes or so without trying to kill each other. A literal rolling ball of fur and claws and howling and hissing. No matter what we did, they wouldn't stop.
Fast forward to Saturday. Sniffa decides that les chats are going to Sniffa's Feline Boot Camp™. This involves a zero tolerance, no Mr Nice Guy approach, and also a squirt gun.
I stayed home from school today, and it has been, aside from a minor scuffle here and there, blissful. They're not best buddies, but they are tolerating each other. Last night was their first night with free roaming privileges in the apartment, and everyone survived until dawn.
Sniffa rocks! His computer is still fried, so he can't respond, but he's very proud of his accomplishment. :D

He was so pissed off about the computer dying and Milk Chan pooping all over our room when he was out, he decided to let them work it out, with the assistance of "the gun".
I've had to use the gun a few times...works great! :D

5. I've only seen one epic fail with the water gun |
|
Plato, aka Aquatread.
I've hit him between the eyes with the thing, and he just stands there dripping wet and looks at me with the "did you want something" face. And then takes an absurdly elaborate bath.
When he was very small, he used to swim in the potty when nobody was looking. His fur is impossibly thick and quite waterproof.

6. I was worried about that with Kitteh, b/c |
|
he's a water cat. He loves to dunk his head in the running faucet water, etc. But, he really doesn't appreciate a zap of water to his ass when he's not expecting it.

3. Never had that problem with mine - knock wood. |
|
But a squirt gun for problems of any sort works wonders. They can't figure out where the hell it's coming from.
