I Wish People Would Just Say What They Mean

I'm tired of people playing games, talking in riddles, etc.

If someone can't just tell me what the fuck is wrong, then what's the point in trying to continue to be their friend?

My new motto is no more games, power plays, control, hanging up the phone, turning it off, whatever else.

I refuse to be treated with no more respect than that in my life and so with that

you may now return to your regularly scheduled programming.

I try to know when to keep my mouth shut, but when I open it, I say what I mean. Constantly, my girlfriend is asking me things like "what did you mean by that?", and my answer always is, and has been for years, "I meant exactly what I said - that's why I said it, instead of saying something else". Seems easy enough to me.
