THIS IS CRAZY>>> PIZZA HUT HAS A CALL CENTER

My wife just called our ONLY Pizza Hut in town. (We live in a small town.) And supposely the Pizza Hut is soooo buzy that the all the calls are being forward to the Pizza Hut call center to place orders.


I've never heard of anything like that!


Now this Pizza Hut when we drive pass is NEVER busy... It is lucky to have 3 customers at a time.

1. Even the drive-thrus are being routed to a call center.

Some McDonalds franchises are doing this. The reason behind this is that apparently they'd be better trained to take your order because all they're doing is order-taking - they're specializing.

This makes sense for Pizza-f**k.. instead of having one person run around answer phone, serve front counter, handle funds, handle guests, chasing up on orders they can hire away a cool cucumber sitting in a cubicle trying to possibly upsell your order to have more goods.

I mean chances are you know the person who answers the phone.

It is almost dehumanizing...They might as well make it computerized punch tone order system...

3. Not unusual

That's not really unusual, especially these days when you have to cut overhead. Many major delivery franchises, in particular the 'Hut and McDo practice it, since it's easier to funnel calls to a single universal number, rather than the number of your nearby branch.

Who do I scream at and threaten to throw hot dipping sauce at, the call takers or the manager at the pizza hut.

7. Pizza Butt is not pizza. It is a pizza product. Better to patronize

the hole in the wall shop in your hood that is fighting
increased cost of flour and cheese. ;)
