Vet appointment tomorrow
Dutchess is our 20 year old cat - not a typo - she's 20 years old

we've had her to the vet a few times over the past couple months, not much they can do. she stopped eating on sunday, we tried force feeding her yesterday to see if we could stimulate her appetite, she did eat a bit last night on her own, not much.

It's time. have a appointment tomorrow morning.

Dutchess - this was taken about 2 years ago

1. I'm sorry.
If she were human, she'd be about 100 years old. She's had a good, very long life.

Thank you for being responsible. This is the toughest decision a pet owner ever makes.

4. My wife's cat made that trip at age 18. She was a tea-cup sized
kitten eating garbage in an alley in Philly when my wife found her, and she was always a tough cat.She was never cuddley, at least not for long, and shw was likely to bite you hard if you pet her.
I never liked her much, but I'll never forget her either.

You will carry her in your heart and mind.

7. We still have the grand dame - Kudra, 22 years old
and still feisty... a bit slow on her feet, but will not hesitate to pop the dogs if she has a mind to

and we give her whatever she wants...

10. My heart breaks for you radfringe...
This was on my mind all day yesterday and I couldn't find the words to say.

I look at our cat (Merlin)-one of the last living links to my father in law (he was his cat first) and my husband's baby...and worry about that day. He is 14 now and I want him to live forever.

Dutchess is a beautiful cat and my thoughts go with you throughout the day.
