Project Runway: I think the right three went onward

1. I like Kenley!

You know that park Leanne and Tim rode the bike to when he went for a visit? I used to go there 3-4 times a week to play. In the winter, if it got cold enough, we'd ice skate on the pond!

2. Kenley has it on the cool factor, but Leanne has a better body of work.

I think Leanne will win this one.

3. I think Korto should win

Her stuff is very different, and tonight's challenge was not representative of her work at all.

and I like the stuff she's got in her collection.

I really didn't see enough of Kenley's collection to make a call.

Leanne's stuff is beautiful, but it reminds me A LOT of Christian (last year's winner).

When I heard Tim talking to Jerrel about his collection, I had a feeling he was the one that was going to get the boot.

16. Her wedding gown was THE worst of all, and I was sure Korto was going home because of it.

That was the ugliest wedding dress I've ever seen. I'm glad they didn't send her home, though, because otherwise she's really good.

17. It was too froo-froo

Most of her stuff is very... nay, deceptively... simple, but has a lot of subtle detail and an interesting cut.

I peeked at their fashion week collections, and she's got a really cool African/Asian aesthetic that it very different, very cool, and very wearable. A lot of it is similar to the seatbelt kimono.

18. Korto has interesting ideas.

Not sure about the wearable part--not for my body type, anyway--but sure, some body types would look good in her clothing. I think she was a good pick for the top 3, although I personally like Jerell's work even better. Jerell's wedding dress was lousy, too.

I have a feeling the decision was partly based on how their collections were looking so far. Jerell's collection didn't look so hot, and Timm Gunn didn't have anything good to say about it, either. Korto's collection probably looked better, and that's why she got to be in the final 3.

Leanne makes some really nice stuff, but she tends to add too much impractical elements to her dresses.

and, quite frankly, the others left annoy the hell out of me. i don't understand why people hate kenley.

9. Because she's inappropriate and unprofessional.

She takes even Tim Gunn's gentle criticism personally, whines constantly, and laughs when other designers are being critiqued. Her designs are sometimes lovely, but I can see how people would never want to work with or around her.

The show should have asked her to leave after she started laughing uncontrollably when another contestant was being critiqued.

Also nailed her personality well - petulant, nasty and dismissive. Christian wasn't much better, though he could be generous and friendly. Kenley just is a twit. Might be a talented twit, but a twit nontheless.

That, plus her totally atonal voice = she drives people crazy.
