Remember when people use to mix up "lose" and "loose"? |
|
The last couple of months it's been "too" and "to". It's amazing how misspellings can spread through the internet.

8. I saw that in SpongeBob credits the other night |
|
No, I don't usually peruse the credits of the shows my son watches! I just happened to glance at the TV and saw the credit for a "song" that was in the show--"Your Old". Sigh.

5. They have never stopped making that mistake. |
|
The problem with lose/loose, too/to is that it gives the offender a chance to say it was "a typo."
It's hard to rain down internet shame on those liars.
Then there's abominations like "intensive purposes" or (a recent addition) "High Pathetically."
There's no wiggle room with those. :spank:

Duuuh me :dunce:
and to further add to my embarrassment, I learned that you do not pronounce 'pseudo' as sway-do while on a business conference call. Ouch.
