The alternative is BUSH. So many of us are here on DU to find out a way to defeat the fucker. I DO NOT want another four years of BUSH!
Yes, there is a difference between the two parties. It wasn't scary to watch the news when Clinton was president. I didn't feel paranoid all the time and could actually devote time to finding out what my life was all about. Under repub rule, I scrape by, thinking only of survival.
THAT, to me, is a crucial difference, and one of the main reasons I will vote Democratic this year. That, and under the protecion of Dem cabinet appointees and a hopeful Dem comeback in the senate, the environment wil be less hostile to change. Then we can start working on a real sea change in government.
Under Bush, none of that will happen.

5. I'm not going to feel comfortable at all if Kerry wins. |
|
He already has power, but he doesn't use it right. He's not defending us.

7. Remember, a lot of people in the US are just as afraid of Kerry |
|
because of the opposite reason: they think he's too left, that he's a rabid Fonda lovin' commie who hates the military.
Who's right, who's wrong? It's subjective, BGL.
