For three weeks, I'm making fifty cents a note playing the jaw harp.

Reason #361 as to why I'm a member of the musician's union.

It's not all gravy though.

I had to special order a Hungarian, hand-made harp specifically in the key of "C". With shipping, it came to 50 bucks!

1. I hope you have a lot of notes to play
and have a very profitable stretch of three weeks. :)

I also hope that this job is fun, wherever it is.

6. Actually playing bass for the stage show "The Color Purple".
I only play the harp for six bars in the whole show, but it's considered a double so I get an extra 10 percent taste.

2. the hungarian ones are supposed to be the best!
I have a friend who plays, and has told me all about it, but to be honest, most of the details went in one ear and out the other. I hope it turns out to be fun for you.

7. My dad gave me one of those when I was like 7...
(after I failed miserably at playing the guitar, callouses and all that) and I immediately broke my front tooth! I guess I was doing it wrong
