What's everyone's favorite cologne, eau de toilette, parfum?
My birthday and Christmas are going to come up, and I don't want any electronics or clothes this year, so I was thinking of asking for some pricey fragrance (particularly Jean Paul Gaultier, Le Male).

What's everyone's favorite?
Tip: don't say Acqua di Gio or you're a guido.

Have a tiny little stash left that I break out for *ahem* special occassions. When that's gone,:( I guess I'll have to go back to the old stand-by::crazy:

It was recommended to me years ago by a woman who was kinda "Sally" to my "Harry" — except I never ended up next to her in bed with an "oh. my. dog." look on my face. :)

She was also my fashion consultant once — helped me choose a couple of really nice suits.

26. My favorite scent was an Avon cheapie called
Hawaiian White Ginger, but it was discontinued ages ago. I preferred the sachet to the cologne, since the cologne didn't have quite the same scent as the sachet.

My husband's favorite scent on me is cooking vanilla, including Mexican vanilla. I like it too, so that's what I wear now. :-)

I've received nice perfumes as gifts, but I always go back to cooking vanilla.

33. please no fragrance
if there's anything worse than artificial fragrance it's artificial fragrance on a man

just use a better anti-perspirant and go on w. your day

people who give smells for important gifts should be hung from their toes and then drawn and quartered in the public forum, but since you are actually ASKING for such a gift...then i don't know what to say

here is a clue, fragrance is not a gift that people want to get, it's a gift that people give when their imaginations lock up, how did you get the idea to WANT a fragrance?

i'm really curious, i can't imagine any situation in which it would be a good thing to give or to get

have you ever seen anyone happy to get fragrance? why do you think you will be the exception?

some posts just have to be gags i guess, this one boggles my tiny brain

I have to find a gift small enough to send in the mail, and fuck gift cards, I may as well not get anything for my sister in the first place.

Some people actually LIKE fragrance (like my sister, and myself), especially good quality ones that do last all day.

I wanted to get something for her that she would not bother buying for herself anymore because of the price and the fact she has 4 kids.

If she doesn't like it, she can always return it and use the cash. :P

"Monyette Paris is warm floral scent based on the luxurious French Polynesia lifestyle. The perfume is an essential oil inspired with Tahitian gardenia, French Muguet du bois and Island Vanilla Orchid. This intoxicating perfume oil melts into your skin and mixes effortlessly with your bodies’ natural chemistry. It's unique floral properties are said to have an aphrodisiac effect"

Everyone who gets close enough to smell it tells me it's absolutely delicious. The scent notes change subtely over time. All time favorite, and I've tried a lot!

You can't find it in this country any more, alas. Thyme's "Goldleaf" comes pretty close though.
