I had an incredibly odd and disturbing dream last night |
|
I was having a "normal" dream (i.e. strange as hell) when out of nowhere my grandmother walked into the setting and looked straight at me. She then said, " something has happened to your mother."
Now, my grandmother has been dead for quite sometime, which was strange enough, but I have never had a dream character (as far as I know) talk tot he real me directly (As opposed to the me in the dream). Even 24 hours later it gives me the willies.
Oh yeah, nothing was wrong with my mother, but the dream did weird me out enough that I had to call her to make sure.

1. Maybe you had it in your mind that you needed to call your mom? |

Sometimes dreams are very life-like...
It was just a dream...
Sometimes I am shaken by my dreams...
Eventually the feelings pass.

2. That is a rather strange dream indeed |
|
That would give me the willies as well.
I had a rather funny dream last night myself. I dreamt I had landed a summer internship abroad in this weird country in northern Asia called Phleung or something along those lines. I remeber someone pointing it out on the globe. It was ruled by this guido type guy with a really bad fake tan, a big gold chain, and would only walk around in a speedo despite having a big gut.
It turned out the internship was actually a real job as the deputy secretary of treasury for this country (mind you I'm 20, and still in college). I was pretty psyched in my dream hehe...

3. I don't blame you for calling her! I would have too |
|
Several years ago my sister was in Ireland for the summer and one night she had a dream about our uncle and in it he told her that he was just checking on everyone to make sure they were ok and to tell them that he was ok. He had unexpectedly died that night back here in the States at a time that it would have been night in Ireland. Of course she could be just bullshitting us with that.
