last hour of firing- cone 8 is starting to soften. who is here?

that might be wishful thinking. hard to tell at this temp and atmoshpere. going to cone 10.
this is my second firing in a week. the other was a wood/salt. all nighter- noon to 3 the next afternoon. I am more than a little impatient
so who is awake?

it is firing me. firing a couple pieces for a friend who may never want to let me do that again. mostly work for a show this weekend.
I am told that my stuff in the wood kiln came out great.
trying not to have a nervous breakdown.

6. i am too old to be staying up till 3 am

at least twice in one week. oy.
cone fell at 2:30 am. had to drive home in my daughters car, which i have never driven before. she had my truck. that was fun.
so tired. wish i could just stay in bed! can't, tho. getting ready for this
