"Heroes" is becoming a little too much like "Lost". |
|
Jumping back and forth in time. Introduction of bad guy others/villains. Ending every episode with a gotcha.
The first season seemed pretty straight forward, "save the cheerleader, save the world". This season the subplot threads are increasing and they don't really seem to be propelling the main story forward.
Feel free to discuss.

1. Yeah, it's getting a little messy. |

I know at least one person who's pretty much stopped watching and is just gonna wait until it's all on DVD to be sorted out. :P

it anymore. You get 5 minutes of each subplot and no conclusion for anything. It drags and is just plain frustrating to watch.

3. I still love Lost; Heroes...not so much anymore |

I'm just not engaged. When faced with an hour of peace and quiet on Monday night after MG Jr. is asleep and I finally have the TV for "grownup shows", I choose Chuck. Haven't watched last week's--it's getting farther and farther down the TiVo list--and I fear this week's will get buried as well.

4. I just want to see what Mohinder turns into |

And I hope it's really disgusting. Other than that, I don't care about any characters other than Sylar.

5. Right there with you wrt to Sylar |

He's gone from being the villain everyone loves to hate to being one of the only characters worth watching. Zachary Quinto must be having a ball playing him right now.

10. I watched all of season one and two, but I've stopped watching the show. |

Mondays at 9 p.m., if I'm home and in front of the tube, I watch Rachel Maddow. It's not that I think the show has gotten particularly bad, it's just that it's gotten particularly complicated and I'm no longer around often enough to catch every episode.
