Has anyone seen "Real Housewives of Atlanta"?

I saw a lot of the episode from last week. I have not seen the previous incarnations of the show (Orange County and New York) but I was aware of their existence.

My question: Where do they get such people? I have never seen a group of more useless, pretentious people in my entire life.

Of course I am watching this week.

5. My favorite is the with the awful blonde weave...

and she has a sugar daddy who refuses to be seen on camera. Hmmm I wonder why.

6. OK I watched almost all of the show last night

1. Not all the women are insufferable. The one who was interviewing the estate manager seems nice. The real estate agent also seems nice. (BTW, am I alone in my contempt for real estate agents as a class? Most of them think that they are doing this amazing, intense job when all they are doing are driving people around who have already made their mind up that they want to buy a house.)

2. What sort of asshole buys their eleven years old daughter a $16,000 birthday party? The kind of asshole that was on the show last night. She wants to be her daughter's friend. What a terrible idea. Her daughter is doomed with a parent like that.

3. I am also repulsed by the woman who had 1000 pairs of shoes and has a private shoe salesman come to her house.

4. I am totally watching next week.
