Okay, tell me if this is weird or not...

About 10 years or so ago, I was taking a screenwriting/playwriting course in college, and we all had to come up with a partial screenplay.

My idea that I came up with was to have an average guy become famous for simply being average. He wasn't supposed to get famous for doing anything, he would just become famous because people viewed him as the phototypical average, regular guy.

The name of the main character? Joe

His profession? Plumber

The name of the "movie"? Average Joe

I'm seriously thinking of suing this Joe the Plumber guy, who's going around parading himself as your average guy, for stealing my idea.
