Help! I need some tech advice(actually my daughter does) |
|
She's currently taking online classes and has run into a problem. Any help would be very much appreciated by both of us. :)
Here's what she wrote down for me to ask:
I'm dealing with a sound file embedded in a power point slideshow that is saved as a PDF file.
When I click on the sound file, it automatically plays with windows media player but I can't pause, stop or fast forward the file because there is no tool bar. If I'm interrupted I have to start the entire sound file over. I'm using Adobe reader. Is there a way to open the sound file with another program so I can forward or pause it?

1. Tell her to try right-clicking on the media player window |
|
Tell her to try it in both the "action" area and the toolbar - one of those places should bring up a menu of controls.

She said she doesn't get a media window at all. She thought it was playing through WMP but found out it's playing through Adobe. She's looked all over for a toolbar and has given up for now.
