Long, weird day. My behavior kid, a good kid on whom I've busted my ass this semester, lost his shit today and hit a female student before I got downstairs to help chill him out. She's fine, but now I get to hold a hearing on this guy and decide whether or not we move him to a more restrictive environment.

This all comes at the end of the working day. Driving home, trying to make my aging self remember why I teach special ed, I get the news that I've passed the comps for the masters degree. Two more class sessions and I graduate in December. You're not a cop-out either
