I live pretty close to MSP, so when planes fly over my house (which is all the time), they are very easy to identify. I don't even have to look up any more.

That was a departure, but when they are landing on 12L they are inside the outer marker and fully configured for landing by the time they get to my place. I can just about wave to the passengers...

I remember a month ago, i was landing on my flight simulator it was 20December weather, and when i was on final approach i have never seen so much thunder and lightening, i slammed it hard on the runway fighting the windshear...... :scared: :scared: in my 717

There might be a nice blizzard, though.
I've experienced windshear in a full-motion simulator and it's really hair-raising.

Was the only time I've ever witnessed someone vomiting on approach to an airport..Yeah it was ALOT of those sudden drops....
