Sunday morning scenery thread
I spent last Sunday ogling leafs at the New River State Park in Virginia.

What beautiful things have you seen lately?

1. Been quite busy lately
and haven't gotten much of a chance to take pics lately. These are from a few weeks ago. They are only adequate, but they remind me of the beautiful hike I took that day along the river.

3. The Fox, it's quite polluted
but better now than in the past.

This pic was taken earlier in the season. Ahhhh . . . algae. Absolutely no touch ups to this pic. True color at certain time of the year. Of course, this is edges of river only, but still bad enough.

4. The New River is rather pristine
Thanks to the work of dedicated environmentalists back in the 70s

It also helps that it's relatively isolated.
