Your poll is biased. Sweet Tea is God's gift to humankind.

33. Then at least use Stevia leaf
or licorice root/anise seed to sweeten it. Cane sugar just makes it taste like canned Nestea

10. I was born and raised in The Heart of Dixie and while I am not a tea drinker..
Super sweet tea like my Aunt Claudia used to make is awesome. 3 cups of sugar per gallon, so sweet so good. Unsweet tea is horrible.

Since I quit drinking over 13 years ago, my sweet tea is the *only* thing I drink now. No milk, no juice, no water, no sodas, no kool-aid, nothing but sweet tea.... I think I'd shrivel up and die without it!

Leaveeeeeeee my sweet tea aloooooooooooonnnnnneeeeeeeee!!!11!!!11!!

40. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Especially when made with mint leaves.
"Hummingbird Tea" is what my Gramma called it--sweet, sweet tea that had crushed spearmint leaves added during the brewing process and strained out before adding the sugar. Mmmmmmmm.

39. It really is. It's incredibly refreshing when it's hot.
You can make a version with Bigelow's "Plantation Mint" tea bags if you can't find fresh spearmint leaves, and it's yummy too. :)

It would probably be good made with Splenda rather than sugar (for the diabetic DU'ers) but I haven't personally tried that yet.

41. Haven't had it so I can't tell.
But it would take an awful lot to be better than ice-cold pure drinking water. Not much of a tea drinker. But gimme that ice water!
