I can see there being comedic moments as the character tries not to speak, but you can't not imagine there's room for some gut wrenching moments as he nears the 1000th word and what that "Final word" could be. Eddie Murphy doesn't do gut wrenching unless he's making you puke from how awful his latest movies have been.

Robin Williams would be great, Will Smith would be great. I could even see Michael Douglas in it. Hell, Allison Janney is a co-star, give the lead to her and you'd have a fantastic movie.
