Does anybody else have to do self-evaluations at work?
I can't stand doing it. If I give myself praise I feel like an egotistical jerk..If I don't say nice things about myself I feel like I'm being fake..false modesty and all that. Gargh.
Its so hard for me to write objectively about my work skills. Does anybody else have to do this crap?

1. Hmmm. Let's see...
-- Shill for teh evul pharma's on DU all day.
-- Talk about the Washington Reagan Nationals
-- Post cat pictures on DU.
-- Irritate fellow DU'ers with your incessant talk about Tony Romo.

What else?

5. They tried this - it was a glorious train wreck
HR got this bright idea to do internal self- and team-evaluations as a team-building exercise.

They tried it on themselves first and it seemed to work fine. (gee, go figure)

Then they tried it on us, a fully functioning team.

It was supposed to be a full day exercise, but we blurted out all the right answers in the first five minutes and spent the rest of the time banding together as a team to torpedo the proceedings. They sent us home before lunch and abandonned the entire mis-begotten project.

7. Yup.
And worse, I have to use smiley faces to do it.

:wtf:

I can add text later, but the main rating is done via smiley.
