would a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
...
And, more importantly, why are they called woodchucks if they don't chuck wood?
These are the types of silly questions my mind dwells on until I feel like I am going stark raving mad. It all comes full circle, though, when I realize I am already stark raving mad and then I'm ok.

Edit ******is wondering how much wood could a woodchuck chuck... 8:31am - 6 Comments friend one: at 9:18am November 13 none silly!
friend two: at 11:04am November 13 Woodchucks can't chuck wood - so there! Now....Donald Rumsfeld was giving the President his daily briefing.... me at 7:28pm November 13 Woodchucks really can't chuck wood? WTF? friend two: at 7:34pm November 13 He concludes by saying: "Yesterday, 3 Brazilian soldiers were killed." ...
me: at 7:36pm November 13 How many are in a brazillion? That joke will never get old...
friend two: at 7:37pm November 13 As compared to the woodchuck joke....I liked the idea of the woodchipper better :-)

3. If a woodchuck could chuck wood |
|
He would chuck, he would, as much as he could.
and more importantly,
A woodchuck is a type of marmot more commonly known as a groundhog, or sometimes a whistlepig. All three names conjure up amusing etymological possibilities, but the 'chuck' in 'woodchuck' probably derives from one or more Native American languages (Algonquian "ockqutchaun" or Cree "otcheck", etc.), so the origin of the 'chuck' part of the name has nothing whatsoever to do with the verb 'to chuck', or 'to throw'...
and most importantly,
Aren't my cut and paste skills most impressive?
