1. I was going to engage in some compassionate gloating, but |
|
I think I'll wait to see if they can win a couple more first.
I have my doubts.

7. I think your link is broken. Check this... |
|
Donald Rumsfeld is giving the President his daily briefing. He concludes by saying: "Yesterday, three Brazilian soldiers were killed."
"OH NO!" the President exclaims. "That's terrible!"
His staff sits stunned at this display of emotion, nervously watching as the President sits, head in hands.
Finally, the President looks up and asks, "How many is a brazillion?"

12. Hey Nomad!!! Haven't heard from you in a while. I had an interesting conversation |
|
with a giants fan this morning. Something about beating two undefeated teams in the Super Bowl. Given the way things are going this year, could it be a sixth seed that does it again??

17. Been under the weather for the last 2 weeks |
|
and before that I was seriously obsessed with the election. On my Giants board we discussed the outcome of this game. We were torn. Many of us just love to see Dallas lose. Some liked the idea of a Washington loss, so the Giants had more breathing room. Finally there were those that feared the Cowboys getting healthy and becoming dangerous, so they hoped for a Dallas defeat (which would pretty much eliminate them from the race.
While there has been an assumption, by many football people, that the 2 wild card teams would come from the NFC East, it may not be the case. The way the NFC South is playing, one or possibly both of the WC teams could come from this division.

18. It's possible there may well be a wild card from the NFC South. |
|
After Carolina either Atlanta or Tampa has a good shot. Not sure how Atlanta will do down the stretch, though, as they lost yesterday to Denver.
