Doing reviews isn't easy. |
|
We all can be critical or complimentary of a movie, TV show, book, etc.
But putting it into a coherent written piece isn't easy.
At my LiveJournal, (it's in my sig line,) I'm doing short reviews of comic strips I read regularly. And doing it legibly and fairly isn't easy.
So I can just imagine how hard it is for those who review professionally books, movies, TV shows, and such.

1. The hardest thing to do |
|
is write a review of praise.
Shredding something to pieces is fairly easy.
A good review of a good piece of art is much, much harder.

I've done reviews for I Spy (the tv show, not the crap movie), and three incarnations of Doctor Who (well, I'm still working on one of them...) ask for links if you are a fan... three of the four sites need some updating too... :spank:
It's very time consuming and detail-oriented. It's easy to miss details at times, especially when there's nobody to proof-read...
Most book prices are worth the price, that's for sure...
