The bottom line is that physical traits trump "compatibility" every time. People (men AND women) are going to look at your picture first before making any other decisions.

So you can be the most compatible dude for a woman using a given site's criteria. But if you don't have the look she is after, forget it.

Online dating is a boon for people who are already attractive and want to expand their base of "hook ups" for quick sex. For your "average" joe, however, its just the same old dating game, with perhaps a more expedient ice-breaking phase. Do not expect miracles.

Notice how eHaromny commercials only show good looking couples. They underplay the fact that she chose him primarily because of how he looked, not all the stuff they rattle off. Yes, its true that she might STAY with him if he's got the other qualities she values, but he'd never get that first shot (or lay) if he wasn't good looking.
