other clues: hung upside down (?0 in an exhibition in NY in '61 and was days before someone noticed.

6. Exactly the sort of painting that
turned me off of art a long time ago.

Well, that and the art snobs I knew, particularly those who thought works like Le Bateau were worth anything more than the canvas it was painted on and sneered at those who didn't see the "brilliance" within.

9. thanks, which direction the sails point and the fact it's a reflection
is part of a bigger part of the puzzle, the greyed out spots.
