3. When the women says something flirtatious.
Edited on Sat Dec-06-08 01:39 PM by RandomThoughts
The philosopher goes into 20 minutes about some obscure writing
she got him to think about.

Examining its relevance in day to day life, and the moment.

Pondering if she alluded to the greater depth without even knowing it.
He responds back with clarity and purpose.

Her eyes glaze over, and soon her eyes find the guy on the other bar stool.

10. Was Rimbaud celibate????
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rimbaud

Rimbaud and Verlaine began a short and torrid affair. Whereas Verlaine likely had prior homosexual experiences, it is not known whether the relationship with Verlaine was Rimbaud's first. During their time together they led a wild, vagabond-like life spiced by absinthe and hashish.

9. Some of the men I met in graduate school
(where I studied religion and philosophy) were just very shy and introverted. But brilliant and interesting. So, maybe they have a hard time with relationships, not with sex. Some are super nerds.

I don't know what you are implying. I would say none of them were promiscuous or would be the type to exploit another person for their own pleasure. Not the type who would run off at the mouth about "getting laid". They were gentlemen.

17. Aristotle was married three times
Despite this, he believed that men possessed more teeth than women. Brilliant mind but not much of a researcher.

18. Men have two heads they think with--a big one and a little one.
Edited on Sat Dec-06-08 02:15 PM by davsand
The little head tends to focus on one subject, exclusively and it is not terribly philosophical.

Just sayin...
