10. I'd rather have Lederhosen.
I figure that if I'm going to wear silly ethnic clothing, I should pick one that keeps the cold air off my nether regions and is suitable for wearing to any Oktoberfest celebrations.

7. I see 'em, they're OK.
The guy who first started the craze lives here, so you are bound to see at least one at an event. Never had a guy wear one to work though. They wear them with Doc Martins or other boots.

14. Och, aye!
Real men wear kilts. Gave my son a Utilikilt a couple Xmases ago and half his friends had to get them. Not as macho has braving wool, but definitely more utilitarian.

Best time for those of us who love to ogle is the Highland Games and various RenFests. Just did the latter a couple weeks ago and the Utilikilts were rampant. :9

16. Men who wear kilts get more sex
Edited on Sat Dec-06-08 04:48 PM by supernova
I love, Love, LOVE men in kilts. :loveya: Even utilikilts. I used to work with a guy who wore one on casual Fridays. Yes, he's English. :D But I thought he was sexy as hell in it. :D It matched his blue fauxhawk. ;-)

edit: With so many Scottish settlers, kilts are not uncommon in NC, at least as ceremonial garb. I personally know one family where the father is NY Italian Catholic and the mother is Scottish and a naturalized citizen. The kids make "gravy" and wear kilts.

17. I dunno. I find them rather inspiring.
There's a guy who works for a tree company around here that wears one. He could hug one of my trees any time!
