Poll question: Do you have Blu-Ray yet?
Once Star Trek TOS (original series; non-CGI-enhanced) and the 6 movies come out, I am so there. The Bond series, "Firefly", and in theory "Serenity" will be out some day too.

Now if only "Batman" (1966-1968, NBC) would be released - the copyright holders would make tons, and what's wrong with profit sharing when it's such a major entity? It's not "My Mother the Car" or "Captain Nice"...

1. Still too pricey for me.
Once I can afford an HDTV and the prices on Blu-Ray players and discs come down, I'll go for it. Until then, I'm good with DVD.

2. yes, but only because...
I have a PS3, otherwise, I would not have a Blu-Ray player.

however, I hardly ever use it for that purpose.

4. My PS3 is my blu ray player to
But I hardley ever play PS3 games on it anymore. Just use it for movies. ITs actually my only working DVD player as well. I like 360 games better.

5. I do, on my new laptop.
It plays Blu-Ray, DVD's and CD's.

Don't have any Blu-Ray disks though.

6. Regular DVDs are fine with me
I don't want to see Angelina Jolie's nipples erect in Tomb Raider...er..wait, I do...

But that's no reason to buy a fucking $$$ new DVD player that isn't even region free!!!

7. My TV is from 1989
I'm waiting to get a new TV first. Damn TV is indestructible, even the roof leaking water into it can't kill it.

8. I had that problem.
Turn it upside down and let it sit for a few hours...the picture will be 3" tall at the bottom of the screen and oddly-colored.

Pretend it's broken. Once it's been on and upright for an hour or so, it'll self-correct.

12. Nope, not until prices are on par with current DVD
Even though I probably will not have a TV and sound system to take advantage of it anytime soon too.
