Any fans of the group "Black Tape for a Blue Girl"? |

What a great band. They remind me a bit of Dead Can Dance and some of the other 4AD bands. Interesting, moody, dark music with haunting vocals.

1. I had a CD of theirs... pretty ethereal. |

I was very into a lot of goth-type music. Mephisto Walz, Dead Can Dance and this band were of a similar genre. I haven't thought of it in several years I must say. I miss that scene actually...

If you like BTFABG, perhaps you'd like some of the other releases on the label founded by Sam (half of the band in question). You can find out all you might want to know at their website www.projekt.com.
Since you're from michigan, you might think about checking out 4AD's "His Name is Alive" (from Livonia, Michigan), if you haven't already.

3. Hey, thanks for the link |

I've heard of His Name is Alive. It's kind of funny--I work in Livonia.
