1. Most cars wouldnt get broken into
Movie Theatres would be quiet

The Mall would be quiet

Less idiots on the roads

Generally it would be a much better world.

2. Not all teenagers are idiots.
There are many, but not all are.
And don't forget the adults that act that way.

4. I used to work where teenagers liked to gather on friday nights
Every teenager I've ever met has been a moron. Especially when they gather in large groups.

32. Well the person said that all teenagers are morons
especially when they are in large groups. I just hate when people classify teenagers like that because of the stupid ones they see. They don't seem to realize that we are all not idiots.

34. Not quite. In his defense...
He wrote "every teenager I've ever met has been an idiot." Presumably he hasn't met you, in a large group or otherwise, so you're off the hook.

It was intended fairly obviously as comical hyperbole.

39. I dont doubt there are some good kids out there.
Edited on Wed Dec-10-08 10:53 AM by rcrush
But I myself have never personally met one. The reason is that I used to run a movie theatre that was close to a high school. So the only teenagers I would encounter are the ones that like to fuck in the bathrooms, trash our parking lot, start fights in the parking lot, key cars, run all over the theatre etc etc etc.

And usually their PARENTS were the worst of them. We would kick these kids out of the theatre and make them leave the property because we actually have paying customers. Their fucking idiot parents come up to me and yell at me and actually tell me to my face that its MY responsibility to watch their kids when they dump them here for 4 hours a night. They would say "YOU MADE MY KID LEAVE!?! JUST BECAUSE HE WAS BEING DISRUPTIVE?! YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO WATCH HIM!!!! I"M GONNA SUE U!!!111 ONE" I would have to say "THIS ISNT A FUCKING DAY CARE CENTER WATCH YOUR OWN DAMN KID!"

We had to hire 4 off duty SAPD Officers just to make sure they didnt burn the place down.

There was a time for like a year straight on Friday nights that one of our officers had to arrest some dumb shit for either fighting or trying or fucking with the cars in the parking lot.

10. My life would be mostly stressfree!!!!!!
I have a 18 year old (who has completely fucked her future up over an abusive, usually unemployed male) and two boys, both in high school, 15 and 16.

Life without teens would be stress free... I can't even imagine the extra money and time I would have.

( I suppose I would miss the little buggers ......maybe....... )

15. American film would improve substantially
Popcorn movies would have more semblance to The Dark Knight than Spider-Man 8.

Romances would actually center around adults. (Although Sex and the City would still be around, unfortunately.)

Comedies wouldn't have so many poo-poo jokes.

Oh, the possibilities...

20. Parents would never go out because there would be no one to watch the kids...
Unable to safely release their sadistic urges, assistant high school principals would devolve into full blown serial-killer masterminds...

We'd get to torture ten-year-olds with the idea that every time they made a C or showed up late to class they were forever ruining their opportunities to get into a decent college and make a living.

We'd all have tons of fun ringing up and bagging our own groceries, waiting our own tables, and landscaping our own lawns.

Predators wouldn't have anymore innocent teenage victims to seduce/rape/kidnap/murder or whatever their particular fancy was.

There would be no big brothers and sisters protecting their younger siblings from unstable, abusive, addictive, and negligent parents.

33. Depends
Is it no more teens ever? Are we changing things so you go from twelve to 20? Cause, in reality thats just semantics, and really nothing changes.

Unless we have a way to age them accordingly. In which case not all that much changes, other than a drop in mall and movie going, underage drinking, stupid driving, arrogance, youthful energy, Barely 18 websites, teen angst, growing experiences, general hormonal atmosphere, and fast food employees(the school system might have to work a little different as well.

If on the other hand, they were to just vanish as they would in natural course turn teen, then all of the above, plus eventually the entire human species would die off, with all the issues inherent in that.
