So my friend tried to sell his used underwear at our garage sale |
|
Edited on Tue Dec-09-08 05:02 PM by CreekDog
This Saturday, he will attempt to sell more. He said, "People bought them!" and "One guy was buying them for the homeless!"
It's true, I was there (selling non-underwear items). That really happened.
Now my friends and I have implored him NOT to sell underwear at the garage sale (this is the suburbs!!!) but it's not working.
In case there is any doubt, by underwear I mean...shorts, not undershirts.
Anyway...what other items should NOT be sold at a garage sale?

Well, now I have to re-think my answers. If underwear sells, what doesn't?

17. uh.........he should have sold them on eBay |
|
Certain items of apparel (used) get a lot of money there. Especially stinky, skanky shoes.

23. Nose hair trimmers, used toothbrushes (even though |
|
many of us use them for scrubbing the little cracks around the sink on cleaning day), old-fashioned reuseable douche and enema equipment, used but washed and refolded tin-foil (don't think my grandmother didn't try), stained sheets (though if they're clean, PAWS will take them as a donation) and any leftover prescriptions that one hasn't quite finished.
