Today is Laundry Day!
As soon as I log off I'll be busy separating my whites from my colored clothes, towels and washcloths get their own load!; putting my socks into mesh bags(so I don't loose a few here and there like I used to...) I've got detergent I'm sure will get put to good use and that reminds me I must not forget the bleach this time! I've got a roll of quarters, I'm taking my laptop in case there's a wireless signal in range, so I can update DU on my progress, if not that's OK there's a huge record store, several book stores, and a sports bar to eat lunch at just a few blocks away! Not to mention a convenience store next door to buy cigarettes and beer (I always liked the suds and suds concept), plus the owners have a sweatered chihuahua dog small enough you don't have to keep him on a leash...just put him in your pocket and walk outside for awhile...When he's ready to go, just scoop him out and set him down!
And it's not even 6 AM or daylight yet! What a joy to be alive!

2. I thought you already moved
Aren't you already down around Houston parts already? At least that's what I thought, hearing the buzz from these parts of the internets! Are you gonna be near the Brazos River neck of the woods? I spent a nice Thanksgiving in some town down near there a while back...Went fishing and caught a minnow!

As for packing...are you series??!!1!

4. I should be so lucky to be moved already. This is the move that
took forever. I closed on the house Thanksgiving week and now am just trying to get it together. I am in the Piney Woods...

And yes, I'm totally series because this is hugh, you unseemly jester. Stop casting asparagus and help out.

7. Piney Woods...
Something makes me scream Southern New Jersey but no, it's Michigan or somewhere close? :dilemma:

I'm more than willing to help but I need cab fare! From Portland? If we get on it I can be there Saturday! :D

3. I may even shower
hehe.

I try to plan like you have, but I lack follow-through. My laundry makes it as far as clean and in baskets.

:hi:

6. That's why it's Laundry DAY!
Nice Russian lady that runs the place doesn't open open up for another two hours...plenty of time to sort the assorted piles piling out of the hamper onto the floor! Be glad I don't have a digital cam or I'd inflict the world with dirtylaundrycam.com!

5. I just throw my clothes into a pile in my driveway...
and have the wind blow the stink off of them.

Please, stop making such a big production of everything.

9. It's houswork day at chez supernova too
:D

It's time to run the dishwasher, sweep the floor, do a load of laundry (put the clean laundry away  ) And pick up.

I like Thursday as chore day because that leaves the weekend free. :7

10. Thursday has always been more chore day too!
I totally agree, it leaves the weekend free to just makes things messy again! Plus this week locally we have the added incentive because the big gigantic hugh icy freezing winter storm front is due! TV weather has had nothing else to talk about all week! People waiting eight hours in line to get their tires changed! Snow level might drop to 500 feet or, Lord Forbid, they valley floor! Half an inch of snow might lead to total traffic paralysis! Film at 4, 5, 6, 10, and 11!
