Meet my Grandma
Her name is margaret and will be 77 next year. She was born in the small town of Stuart, Virginia population 961. Her favorite president was FDR and she still has a crush on Bill Clinton. She hates Bush with a passion and anyone who interrupts her Guiding Light better watch out. She stopped smoking five years ago and curses like you would not believe I think her favorite word is shit. So here she is my Grandma one of the people I love more than just about anyone one in the world.

4. My grandmother was the most precious person
in the world to me.

This is her when she first arrived in the US from the Dominican Republic:

She died in 2001, one day before my birthday. That morning, she told me she was dying and that she would try not to ruin my special day

11. Well, hello Miss Margaret!
I'm glad to know you finally were able to quit smoking! My grandma was an "As the World Turns" woman, and *her* mother wouldn't even pick up the phone when her stories were on :-) I hope you know you have a pretty special grandson. Actually, I'm sure you do.

Thanks Charles, for sharing Grandma with us!
