1. Slightly off topic, but
That commercial with Tiger Woods playing Carl is one of the funniest things I've seen in an ad in a long time.

3. Tiger is actually an incredibly cool guy.
I have had the honor of working with him a few times and he is surprisingly down to earth and has an incredible work ethic when doing media production like that.

This contrasts with the petulant assininity displayed by spoiled brat Davis Love III over the weekend. He's a whiny punk.

Love III got slapped this AM on sports talk radio in Chicago. Point out wingers for the whiny losers they are whenever possible.

Although I am the fast times at ridgemont high generation.

"You're a Dick" Classic line and "uh uh uh That was
my skull man" will go down as the funiest stoner lines
of all time .

9. Have any of you seen Ghandhi?
And for a similar role, incredible performance, Lou Gosset jr as Anwar Sadat. Swear to god, the man brought tears to my eyes when he got on the plane to go to Israel, knowing full well he would die for it.

BTW, my sister's an AD in 'the industry' - good job for middle child from a huge family. She has a rep of being able to keep calm and maintain peace. Kingsley's a friend of hers, and one time he had to go negotiate something with Steve Spielberg - who has, shall we say, a difficult reputation. So Kingsley took my sister along. And it worked out, plus it was at the time when the whole jurassic park thing was going on, so she got to see all that cool stuff when they went to spielberg's sanctum.

10. Wow! That's cool
about your sis and her job. What other "inside" stories are you willing to share? No, I haven't seen Ghandi. I guess I should.

11. Well, she was second unit first AD on 'Master & Commander'
and she got to go to the Galapagos. My daughter tried to talk her into taking her in her baggage. And she got our nephew, another sister's son, a job working on the ship they used in the film. It's docked in San Diego.

18. Johnny should have been nominated for Ed Wood
and Donnie Brasco, and Edward Scissorhands. But that's just me. ;-)

But I ain't complainin'. There's lots more of Johnny to look forward too. Lots more that is probably award worthy too:

- J M Barrie's Neverland. The story of how J M Barrie came to create Peter Pan.

- The Libertine. The story of The Earl of Rochester, debauched Restoration poet.

- Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Another Tim Burton/JD collaboration. No singing thus far. They'be been here in NC and TN looking for kids to star with Johnny.

- Pirates of the Caribbean 2 & 3. Who knows what the writers will dream up?
