1. It's one of my annual traditions.
Actually, it's very nearly a docudrama of my family.

4. I've never seen it. I do love Jean Sheppard's (sp?) "A Christmas
Story" but I don't NEED it to complete the holiday. Burl Ives and the little felt Rudolph, Abominable Snowman and the little dentist guy and - what was his name Yukon Cornelius - yes! That was it. Now THAT means Christmas to me.

As does Charlie Brown's Christmas (the music and Snoopy sound effects, especially) and Dr. Seuss's "The Grinch". The old, original one.

But I didn't see any of 'em this year because I've had to delay Christmas on account of scheduling arrangements kept the family from getting together. But those are the ones that do it for me.... : )

I did have a bit of a crush on Chevy Chase as a teenager, though... he looked just like a guy in my class (who/m I also found adorable - unfortunately he was also highly annoying).

7. Those are all good Christmas shows.
I recorded them and we will watch them over the weekend.

I was to busy to watch them when they were on tv.

We have a long weekend ahead, it is only Thursday.

9. The Rudolph movie makes me cry - every time. I think it came out when
I was like 6 - I'm such a sap... my family teases me unmercifully about it, too. : )

I need copies of them, too, because when my daughters and I have "Christmas" we're going to watch them - even if it's in the middle of the summer (I can hear their groans, now... heh).

5. That movie is a classic....
It's right up there with "Citizen Kane" and "Gone With the Wind" as far as fine acting, casting and screenplay goes.

6. Looks like I'm going to find out.
:) Don't have cable, don't have the DVD.

That's okay. I don't need to movie, I can just visit my own family. I just wonder which character I am.

13. Christmas Vacation is a great movie.
My honey has Griswolded the house. Apparently nobody in this jerkwater town puts on their Xmas lights on Xmas night. Except for us.

14. Fun Fact: One of the grandmothers was played by the voice of Betty Boop & Olive Oyl
She was a great comic actress, but didn't appear in that many movies because she had a withered arm that had to be disguised. Therefore she concentrated on voice work for cartoons.
