It's OK....not the greatest thing since sliced beer that everyone seems to rave about...

Granted its kind of a cool premise, but its no Twin Peaks

1. Yeah, a friend of mine spent ages trying to get me to watch Firefly.
When I finally got around to it, I was a little unerwhelmed.

2. Stay with it a while
There are only 14 episodes- it gets better as you get to know the crew.

Or you can go straight to the movie "Serenity"- it's good all by itself.

3. The train robbery episode?
Yeah, watch a couple more. Fox kinda messed up the show with their interference.

7. Save Serenity
Until after you've seen the series. Though it was made to stand alone, you're already familiar with the characters by then.

8. I thought it was clever, if a bit slick for sci-fi...

10. I think what bugs the fans about how it got *&%ed the most
isn't that it was sooooo great, although we do love it... it's that it had so much POTENTIAL. And it got cut off before it had a chance to take off.
