You're going to need the friendly flora after you kill off the ones you've got, or risk a UTI or yeast infection as a sequel. If you don't do dairy, you can get acidophilus caps or liquid.
Otherwise, there are few illnesses that can't benefit from fuzzy socks and Vicks (bonus if you have someone to rub it on for you).

Are you taking it right before eating? That sometimes helps.
There are other antibiotics that work as well as amoxicillin, but don't upset the stomach. One of these is Septra (Bactrim). If it gets bad, maybe your doc could switch you to something like that.
Eat yogurt so you don't get the runs and to keep the flora in your intestine working :hug: (anitbiotics usually kill the healthy bacteria needed for digestion)
