mmm .....Bud Light with Clamato!!!! *with* "Certified Color*

Clamato (a portmanteau of "clam" and "tomato") is a trademark of the Mott's company which denotes a drink made primarily of reconstituted tomato juice concentrate and reconstituted dried clam broth, with a dash of high fructose corn syrup, and USDA Red 40 to maintain a 'natural' tomato colour.

2. Why do chelada's fascinate the Lounge?
I can think of at least 3 threads since Summer with chelada themes.

9. It must be the new Chipotle
not necessarily here in the Lounge but it seems that our world is drowning in Chipotle

18. I have had both.

I'd rather have a chelada than eat at Chipotle.

One of my favorite hangover cures is a Bloody Beer.

11. A year ago in Vegas
a guy walked up to the bar we were sitting at watching the NFL and pounding drinks down and ordered that

I had never heard of it

A buddy of mine who simply MUST mix something before drinking it :eyes: said it was a fave of his too

12. About 1/2 and 1/2 beer and tomato juice. Or V-8.
Worcestershire and Tabasco to taste.
Basically whatever you'd put in a Bloody Mary.
It's smooth and a couple or three will get you thinking right again.

My best ever hangover cure ever was my first Martini.
The bartender suggested it for my 'condition'.
The first one tasted like anti-freeze.
By the third one I was flying again.
That was a long time ago.
;-)

22. Just to clarify: when you say you were "flying again," you mean walking upright
and feeling good, right? An actual flyig vehicle was not involved, correct? :)

15. I think that might be ok
I drink Red bud, or V8 mixed with Budweiser all the time.

Or tomato and Budweiser.

however, how would you mix it when it settles, without shaking the can before opening it?

You would need a glass, I would think.
