2. I was disappointed with the character in the first movie |

He almost seemed like comedy relief. Especially when he was piloting the Batmobile at the end of the movie. It was like the scene in "The Phantom Menace" where the boy Anakin is piloting the fighter.
I highly recommend the "Batman; Year One" graphic novel. Gordon is more than a wallflower in it. He plays "the only good cop" role. My favorite line of the whole thing is when he says, "It's been a long time since I beat up a green beret".
Actually since the spot is open, I'd like to see Oldman play the Joker. He has a long resume of playing dark crazy characters for a reason, and he has an outrageous laugh. Check out the newspaper in the Harry Potter movie.

I thought the movie mostly was really good -loved the start aniseptic settings -loved how you saw each persons world of control while Batman basically out moneyed everyone (the Hong Kong guy especially) -Ledger was incredible
