What do you use to scratch your back?

I use the following. With the advent of CAD, it's not like I use this for its intended purpose anymore. Not the triangular cross section which keeps it from flexing:

1. My dear pokerfan!
I use an old-fashioned back scratcher!

I think it's made of bamboo, and it has a curved place on the end, complete with finger-shaped parts, which do the scratching...

It works like a charm!

:hi:

7. I got the 'fancy' version of that from the dollar store. It has little studded wheels on...
...the other end-- for a back massage, I guess.

4. I actually have a wooden back scratcher.
Living in Utah during the winter is killer, because of how dry it is, so it's bliss.

The thing is made of wood and feels soooo amazing on my back.

8. An old manager of mine actually rounded a corner on a doorframe
Several times a day, Mr. B would stand in the door frame and use it to scratch between his shoulder blades.
He had worked there for over 15 years -- in that spot, the paint had rubbed off and the doorway molding was rounded right where he did so.

I often threatened to get him one of those corner-mounted kitty scratchers, but never actually did so.

20. I'd know that little baggie anywhere.
Yes, it is. Back when I had the luxury of my own weed, I kept my baggie and the cats' baggie side by side. Their baggie was always smaller.

9. When my wife retired her big metal spoon in favor of
non-stick friendly wood or plastic ones, I commandeered it for back-scratching. Aaaaah!
It works great, too.

Edited on Mon Jan-05-09 02:25 PM by Kali
got one by the desk and one by the bed. I want a couple of the wall mounted cat jobs above!

I've been known to grab a dead branch off a mesquite when out and about.

16. I use one of those bamboo ones, got it at the state fair. My husband
is a guitar player, no fingernails at all, so he's useless as a backscratcher *lol*
Helluva guitar player though! :-)

17. those are good - I used to be an architorture student, so am familiar with that back scratcher
I use my freakishly long and flexible arms which can reach my entire back except for one or two small places, at which point I use a door way or something else.

19. I use either a tree or a door frame, whichever is closer.
I have been known to slide across the carpet on my back with my feet in the air to scratch my back too. :P
