How much weight have you gained since Thanksgiving?
5 pounds for me. Time to get working on it before it turns to 10.

First step is to have husband take remaining cookies to work with him tomorrow.

3. Thankfully none.
I don't gain weight over the holidays. Again, thankfully. 5lbs isn't bad, especially if you spend holidays with families with big meal gatherings. Good luck getting those few off!

6. Not sure -- probably a few.
My pants were feeling quite tight around the waist after Xmas. I've cut back on sugar (those holiday cookies did me in) and I'm only drinking my beloved wine on weekend nights now, not every night. *sob* I've been exercising regularly throughout the holidays, so it must be the extra calories.

8. Too much
I never weigh myself immediately after a holiday. It's too depressing. I'll wait a couple of weeks, until I feel more comfortable in my clothes again, before stepping on the scale.

10. I don't think it's a whole bunch
Edited on Mon Jan-05-09 05:46 PM by Connonym
maybe a little at most. (you that is)

I don't think I've gained anything over the holidays but I'm up 20 lbs in the past 2 years. There's waaaay more junk food at my mom's house than I ever kept at mine. Hoping to move out before summer and then maybe I'll be able to get back on track.

15. you are very sweet
I do have some weight loss goals to hopefully reach before my oldest kids wedding in August.
I had HOPED to loose about 50 more, but that is prob not realistic.
Maybe 25 more by then would be nice....

12. Very filled with family
Today was nice to be by myself with everyone back at work. And everyone seemed to like my creatively frugal gifts (or at least not say anything to my face.)

Best "gift" turn turned out to be an art deco lamp that someone tossed in the garbage and Jason's stepdad and I reclaimed while walking the dogs. A new switch and shade and it will be cooler that new.

18. one year in college I had very little money, and I bought chopsticks and

small rice bowls for everyone at this small head shop near the school. They were the best gifts!

Hell, I'd like to find an art deco lamp in the trash. Good deal!

I am VERY ready for my kid to be back at school - they are going back tomorrow.

16. Dunno. My clothes fit the same as before.
I have a screwed-up ankle that needs surgery and I haven't been very active for some months now. I'm not worrying about my weight (mind you, not trying to gain any more than I have) until I can get my ankle fixed and rehabbed. I probably won't be ready for soccer season this summer, but at least I'll be able to be active again.

One thing at a time.

21. I've actually lost a few
Our store was opening in a new location and it is much bigger. Been price tagging a 15,000 sqft store since the week of Thanksgiving. Finally had the grand opening yesterday. Still walking the floors!

22. Maybe 2-3...not many, thankfully! Hoping to finally dig out the
Tae Bo CDs and firm up my midsection; otherwise, not looking to really lose any more weight. Just need to target the area between my belly button and my knees :-)
