I got a shiny new cell phone that's also an MP3 player.

It's a Samsung (edited from "Sanyo" - Oops!) from T-Mobile- they tried to sell me a 2gb memory chip for the bargain basement price of forty bucks (yep, they said it was ON SALE!!!!!!). I went to Fry's Electronics and bought the chip for nine bucks instead. They had a floor bin full of 'em- same brand and everything.

Is T-Mobile broke or something, that they have to jack the price of a chip up that much? Sheesh! :shrug:

I imagine that the good people at T-Mobile are scrounging for every dime they can lay their hands on, these days!

Plus, Fry's has very good prices, probably as a result of their bargaining power...
