What's for dinner, DU?
Here's what I'm having:

Tempeh with lemongrass-turmeric sauce
Jasmine rice
Sprout/carrot salad from whole foods
Miso soup

It's all nommy and vegan. Yay. Okay, the sauce is store-bought, as is the soup (but I'm adding scallions and seaweed to it). I feel like I'm cheating. :P

3. Oh good, it has been a while since we have had one of these.
Went to Trader Joe’s this weekend so we are having some of their Punjab Choley over medium grain brown rice. Some oven fried Klamath Pearl Potatoes (coated with oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder and a little sugar) and a spinach salad (baby spinach, dried roma tomatoes, red onion, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, kalamata olives and feta) with a vinaigrette dressing.

7. Baked chicken breast.
Baked with garlic, onion and herbs. Serving it with broccoli and pasta with a cream and cheese sauce.

Nothing exciting, but one of those meals I don't make too often. I was snowbound today so I had time to actually bake bone in chicken breasts for dinner.

23. basa fillets (whatever those are)
Edited on Wed Jan-14-09 10:58 PM by Kali
got them on sale a while back and decided to try them, lightly coated with flour, crushed cornflakes (yes!) parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Sauted in a little olive oil and butter, drizzled with lime juice. Baked spuds and green beans.

If anybody doesn't like fish because it is fishy, you might want to give basa a try - it was pretty dang bland:rofl: I think it would be good as a base for some more exciting cooking, maybe sauced or stuffed. They were big fillets and held together pretty well so wrapping something up in them would probably work well.
