1. teh google says
"He continues to write and host various MTV News specials as well as do interviews and reports for both MTV News and the MTV Radio Network. He also writes on a regular basis for MTVNews.com and can be found on MTV.com reviewing the latest popular and lesser-known movies in "Kurt Loder on Film."

6. Well...that would mean he was only 43 when he came to MTV in 1988.
JJ Jackson would be even older if he'd lived - he'd be coming up on 68 years old (making him 40 when MTV premiered with him as one of the original VJs).

8. Martha was really young when MTV premiered, though.
I think she and Alan Hunter were both on the very young side.

2. I always thought he was the best journalist on MTV, partly because he seemed so buttoned-down.
All of the other MTV correspondents were trying to be so edgy and hip and au courant. And their level of journalism suffered as a result. Loder just did his job, and he did it well.
